TRUDICKS
Susan Trudicks, 101, of Toronto, Ohio, died peacefully January 20, 2010. She was born to Susan and Michael Hvizsgyak, both deceased. "Sweet Sue" "Baba", as many called her, was well known for her delicious food and her homemade baked goodies. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John who passed away in 1969, sisters, Mary Paylock, Marge Hagan, Ann Billcheck, and Catherine, and brothers Michael and John. She is survived by her daughter Rosemarie D'Alonzo, Paradise Valley, Arizona, Suzanne Theresa Marlin (James), Columbus, Ohio, and son John Michael (Patricia), Burr Ridge, Illinois, granddaughters, Nicole and Danika D'Alonzo, Courtney and Lindsey Marlin, and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Cade Forest, James Thomas and John Michael Ross, and her loving sister-in-law, Theresa Troski. She graduated from Steubenville Business College and worked in the Manifest Department of the Weirton Steel Company. She was a devout Catholic and member of the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild and Rosary Society. Donations may be made to St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Clarke Funeral Home – 302 Main St. – Toronto. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday January 24th at the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy with Divine Liturgy will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday – January 25th at the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church – 814 N. Fifth St. Toronto, OH 43964 with officiant Fr. James Atkins. Burial will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
