Timothy R.C. Bower – age 58 – of Unionport, Ohio passed away suddenly Saturday – February 6, 2010 at the Trinity Medical Center – West Emergency Room, Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born July 12, 1951 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of the late Carl Bower and Maxine Crites Miller.
Timothy was a Lutheran and was a member of the Mingo Jct., Ohio Sportsmen's Club. He loved to cook and was an avid fisherman.He was a graduate of Carrollton High School.
He was retired from the Weirton Steel Company having worked in the Strip Steel Department. He was also an employee of the Marina Company of Steubenville.
Timothy's survivors are:
Wife: Marlene K. Thompson Bower whom he married June 6, 1978
Son: Timothy John "T.J." Bower of Toronto, Ohio
Daughter: Betheny J. Bower and fiancé Bernie Smith of Richmond, Ohio
Brothers: Thomas Bower and wife Peggy of Brilliant, Ohio
David Bower of St. Clairsville, Ohio
Sister: Cindy Richardson of Canton, Ohio
Grandson: B. Kaden Timothy Smith of Richmond, Ohio
Granddaughter: Kayla Bower of Toronto, Ohio
Several nieces and nephews
Friends and family will gather for visitation from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday February 11th at the Clarke Funeral Home – 302 Main St. – Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.
A celebration service of Timothy's life will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday February 12th at the funeral home with the Rev. Jason Elliott officiating.
