Carolyn M.E. "Carrie" Culbertson – age 92 – of Toronto passed away Saturday – February 13, 2010 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North – Steubenville.
She was born July 18, 1917 in Toronto, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Theisa Major Coulter.
Carrie is a long time member of the Toronto First Church of the Nazarene and the Women's Christian Ministry of the Church.
She is retired after 22 years from the former Steubenville Pottery and after three years from the former Riverview Nursing Home in Steubenville.
Carrie was preceded in death by her husband – Jack Culbertson who passed away in 1984 / sisters – Alberta Fryman – May Hollinger – Olive Sherwood
brothers – Jim and Harold Coulter
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather for visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday – February 15th at the Clarke Funeral Home – 302 Main St. – Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.
A celebration service of Carrie's life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Frey officiating. Burial will be at the Toronto Union Cemetery at a later date due to weather conditions.
Memorial contributions in memory of Carrie may be made to the Toronto First Church of the Nazarene – 507 Findley St. – Toronto.
