David Terry (Terry) Peckins – age 60 of Toronto passed away Sunday July 18, 2010 at the Trinity Medical Center – West Steubenville, Ohio
He was born March 1, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of the late Frank T. and Jacqueline L. Cusick Peckins.
Terry was a 1968 graduate of Toronto High School and a graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
He was retired from the wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Terry's survivors are:
Wife: Margaret Allen Peckins whom he married August 31, 2000
Daughters: Jamie (Chris) Wilson and Jennifer (Rashad) Terry both of Steubenville, Ohio
Sister: Susan (Robert) Shimmel of Richmond, Ohio
Grandson: Jaedon Snyder of Steubenville, Ohio
Stepsons: Mike and John Rex both of Toronto, Ohio
Step- grandchild: Caitlyn Rex of Toronto, Ohio
Nieces: Victoria and Tabatha Shimmel
Nephews: Brenden and David Shimmel
Friends and family will gather for visitation 4 - 8 Wednesday July 21st and also from 12:00 P.M. noon to 2:00 P.M. Thursday July 22nd at the Clarke Funeral Home – 302 Main St. – Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.
A celebration service of Terry's life will be held Thursday 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating.
Terry will be cremated according to his wishes.
